Soooo this is what I do - I make ambient music using a mix of cello, Irish whistles and flutes, occasionally bouzouki and MIDI stuff. I reach out to a friend or person that I've not seen in a while and I ask them for 1-3 words and then I try to make a soundscape/ambient track based around those words. Some times, I have to make a little story in my head and it helps with the creative process.
